Inspired by the legacy of Robert Kennedy, RFK Young Leaders are dedicated to empowering young human rights defenders in New York City.

RFK Young Leaders comprise a network of New Yorkers under the age of 35 who demonstrate a commitment to social justice. Supported by the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, RFK Young Leaders seek to realize Robert Kennedy’s dream of a more just and peaceful world.

For 2012, its first project is funding and supporting the Young Leaders Fellow, who will work with the RFK Center’s program staff on human rights advocacy and issues. He or she will also work to inspire a new generation to speak truth to power.
