Celebrate The New York Pops 29th Birthday Gala by Supporting Their Online Auction!
The New York Pops is the largest independent pops orchestra in the United States, and the only professional symphonic orchestra in New York City specializing in popular music. Led by Music Director Steven Reineke, The New York Pops continues to deliver sold-out performances at Carnegie Hall by reimagining America’s popular musical heritage.
The New York Pops 29th Birthday Gala raises funds for the orchestra and its extensive music education programs throughout the five boroughs of New York City and beyond. These programs serve thousands of children every year. Since the inception of the first education programs in 1990, more than 30,000 children have benefited from the magic of music. By increasing young people’s awareness and understanding of the music-making experience, The New York Pops Education Programs both build audiences and train musicians for the future. Working with New York City public schools and community organizations, The New York Pops provides children with free music lessons, free admission to rehearsals and concerts, and classroom programs designed to spark the creative potential within every child.
